Practical, Scenario-Based Digital Evidence Training

Tessera North closes the gap between lab expertise and field reality. Courses are built for patrol, detectives, and investigators who see digital evidence every week and need a clear, usable playbook.

There are no open-enrollment classes listed at this time, though agencies and training organizations can request to host a session. We will tailor length, structure, and content to your needs.

What Makes Tessera North Different

Tessera North was built from the ground up by someone who has lived this work, from the patrol car to the forensic lab. Our training is not theory. It comes from almost two decades of hands-on experience investigating crimes, preserving digital evidence in the field, and leading complex forensic operations at the federal level.

Christopher O’Neill, founder of Tessera North and iForensic Services, began his career in patrol and later served as the agency’s Digital Forensic Analyst in the Major-Crimes Unit, where he developed and delivered digital evidence training to officers, detectives, and prosecutors. He went on to support high-level federal investigations and assist in the development of forensic processes, policy, and interagency collaboration.

Chris is a long-time member of the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) and has contributed to both technical training and curriculum design within the digital forensics community. His experience spans field operations, complex analysis, and professional instruction, combining real investigative depth wit proven teaching experience.

That foundation shapes every Tessera North course. Each scenario is grounded in actual investigative work and built to strengthen operational instincts that hold up in the field and in court. Our goal is to give agencies training that delivers measurable results: better evidence handling, better report, and stronger cases.
